About the site all leads back to two sisters loving Blake Lewis, obviously, we started Blakeified cause we love him. We think Blake Lewis is the most awesome person in the planet. We loved Blake Lewis when he was on American Idol, but when we really wanted to start making a fan site was in July 2008, we figured, hey we’re obsessed with him already, why not make a fan site. But, we weren't always obsessed with him, when he was on American Idol, sure we voted for him... In fact for 2 hours on the finale, we cried when he didn’t win... It didn’t start there. Our liking for him actually stopped after season 6 of American Idol, but when we were on youtube, watching videos, can’t remember what, an advertisement for his CD, Audio Day Dream popped up, we remember talking about it, and saving the image of the ad.. We used to visit song lyric websites all the time, we remember seeing ads all over the place for his CD... We wanted it so bad. One problem, we didn’t have the money to buy it, and we knew no one else would buy it for us.. So, time passed, we didn’t get it for Christmas, or our birthday, obviously, we didn’t tell anyone we wanted it, no one even knew we liked him for goodness sake. So yeah, January came and we saw the Break Anotha’ music video on Comcast on demand on the TV, well I’m sure we both thought about watching it, but, we didn’t. :(
So in like March Blake Lewis preformed How Many Words on American Idol, oh, yesssss, that is where the obsession started. We got the track and listened to it 24/7 practically, we put it on our MP3 Players and listened to it all the time.... We went to Monterey in April on our father’s business trip and remember keeping repeating that amazing song over and over again on our MP3 Players for the whole 8 hour drive, there and back. It never gets old for crying out loud! After that our mom eventually found out we liked him, and so by then, guess we finally had money and bought a used copy of his CD off of eBay. Hey, used or not it, Audio Day Dream is the most amazing CD we’ve ever heard and we love it. After we got his CD is when we started loving him, not just his amazing songs, awesome beat boxing, beautiful voice, we loved him as a person... So we decided we wanted to make a fan site.
